This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today Sandy's friend, Betsy, gave a wonderful shower for her and James and the family. It was held at my home. We had a wonderful time, many friends and relatives came to honor Sandy and James. Betsy made her a diaper cake. It was wrapped in the colors of the nursery (brown and pink) Her school friend Charity made a beautiful blanket; honestly, she got all kinds of great things. Thanks to all who came and helped celebrate this happy time for our family. A real treat for us was my niece Janelle who came home from college at Eastern Illinois University. She got the baby a EIU onesy and the girls EIU hooded sweatshirts. The girls have always loved Janelle.! How sweet is that. Those who attended were James' friends wives, James's mother and aunt, friends from EMT, and her old classmates and friends she was close to in school. Her aunt Shawn and aunt Kelly were there, and Brittany and her kids. And her sister and me. My house was filled with laughter (games were hilarious). My niece Steph was here (she is expecting in April 2010). We are all thrilled as Sandy and Steph are one month apart and are the best of buds. We're hoping for a girl to play with our baby girl. God is good. And thanks to every one. Sandy has always been blessed with dear friends, Steph, Amanda, Charity, and Sandy were "thick as thieves" and still are. What a blessing. Jamie heard from her best friend. Marsha has had H1N1 and is improving, thank the LORD. Mike is back home now. He made himself scarce during the occasion. But, he wanted to know everything. Blessings to you all.
