I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

On a road trip

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. I had a wonderful MD visit in St. Louis and then went straight to Springfield, MO to a lovely all "green" motel that used to be a Hampton Inn. We went to see a show in Branson (the one with that Shobji guy) it was fantastic. The bathrooms in that place were like in a palace (like I've been in alot of palaces.......) Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves and then spent today at the Big Bass Pro in Springfield. They are renevating the place, but have a brand new alligator on display. He doesn'tmuch. Maybe he is in shock from the move.... Tomorrow home as far as I know. Hubby is in charge of the itenerary. I was not happy missing the BSF or Wed noc Bible Study nursery. Also missed my great nephew's first birthday party. His name is Beau, and he is gorgeous, his Aunt Kelly said. Sorry Hope, that I missed it. Love you anyway. Maybe some pics later. Blessings.........
