Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Merry Christmas to all

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Merry Christmas everyone. What a wonderful time of year. I just read from the O.T. book of Micah the prophet about a baby shall be born; read from Isaiah yesterday a son would be born and He would be called Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace, etc. What a beautiful passage about Christmas and its true meaning. Yesterday we had the Reese Christmas at Mike's little sister Katy's home. It was a wonderful time. She took the little ones outside to the barn so they could see the animals. Her husband John has always been a shepherd; cool, eh? We missed Robin and family and Ann's family, and my Jamie. She was at home taking care of Gee Gee for me. Thanks Jame. My little girls had on new sweaters to match James's blue with Bismarck Fire on them and their names. Cute....... Everyone is coming here for lunch. We will have a roaring good time. Speaking of roaring, Poppa has started the fire already. Nothing llike the snap and crackle of a fireplace in the cold winter. My prayer for all of us this year is that we are able to see God for who He is and make Him known to others. Have a great day. F.
