There is nothing like a friend
This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. I heard from an old friend(she's not old, just known her a long time). She was such an encouragement to me, I really appreciated it. This blogging thing is really new to me and I don't always know how to do stuff. For instance, I can't seem to respond to postings on my own blog. What's up with that???? It is difficult to teach an old dog, you know. Mike and I have been reading about our tongue, and how sweet (or vicious) it can be. The Bible says we must control our tongue, but it is hard. You know, if you can't say something good, don't say anything at all. Wish I could really learn that and practice if daily. That is what friends do for you; they can remind you in a subtle way to comment or not on any given subject. I love my Bible; it gives me an unusual strength in weakness, knowing God is in control, and I'm NOT........Have a wonderful day. F>

Your blog looks great! I try to keep up with everyone from Calvary via blogger and it is nice to hear from you. I think of you often and your sweet, generous spirit.
Thank your for sharing what you've been learning on the tongue. I seem to always need to work in that area!
Have a wonderful week,

Hey, it is great to hear from you. We think of you and the Taylor family often. Thanks for posting on my blog. The LORD has used others' blogs to see me thru some big ole' hurts. And, it is a wonderful way to keep in touch. My love to Mary Ruth. F>
