I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.
Truly a star to be proud of. She's a beautiful girl grandma. Hard to believe she will soon be 12 years old - where has the time gone? I still remember seeing her in the NICU - so tiny and yet so perfect - a miraculous gift from God.
Retired RN, Medical Oncology. Have a sweet husband, two darling daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, two beautiful eleven year old twins granddaughters. We have a 2 year old granddaughter who is delightful. Also, we have a little boy in our family now who is in Heaven safe in the arms of Jesus. He was so beautiful. My dear mother passed away on May 9,2009, at her home with her family by her side. She is now walking the streets of gold with my dad. I was saved at age 12 at my home church near Chrisman, Illinois. I enjoy playing the piano and reading; and Mike and I go to Canada a couple times a year with our dear friends, Jack and Linda. Our family has 3 dogs we love to play with, Jackson, a yellow lab, Ella Mae, a Shih Tsu, and Cubbie Colt, a Shih Poo. I have recently been challenged to share my faith often, perhaps even once a day. To our family and friends, enjoy your family and love your God.
