Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Family time

Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God my Father~ Today our nieces, Susan and Stephanie came over with their kids. Susan's husband Jerry also came. He is recovering wonderfully from a kidney transplant in early December. The twins were at a birthday gathering, so they came late but we got everybody in on our steps, except little Reese who was feeding at the time. Starting at the bottom, Garret Levi Rasberry, Isaiah John Tidwell, Elijah Douglas Tidwell, Paige Elizabeth Thornsbrough, Peyton Amanda Thornsbrough and Lukas McLean Rasberry, youngest to the oldest. We have had lots of pictures taken on these steps, some when their mothers were little. Also visiting were Mike, Kelly, Jordan, Janelle, and Joseph Reese, our youngest sister and family. We had sooooo much fun. Holding the newest member, Reese Madelynn, while Momma Sandy and Daddy James watched. Aunt Jamie and Cubbie were here, also. Cubbie loved playing with the little boys. I love family. The whole idea makes me smile. Hope your day was as good as mine.
