Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

twins at school with Grammy

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today was Sandy's BIG doctor visit, so I have the girls after my Bible study. Aunt Brittany had them all night and for morning. We are working on writing a special thank you to a special young woman whom the girls and I love very much. Gotta go, more school work. Oh, and the appointment went very well. They are having lunch and then coming home. I was fearful that she would have to stay and that maybe, just maybe, we'd have a baby today!!! Stay tuned for the latest developments......

The girls have really grown and they are so pretty. You are such a lucky grandma to have such precious angels.

Thanks, Rae. We are patiently waiting on the next granddaughter to arrive. I'd tell her name, but I don't know it yet......Reese something or something Reese. It's up to James. And, you, my friend, have some pretty special grandkids of your own. We are both blessed.
