Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Happy 4th of July

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today is our annual Reese 4th Celebration. It is one everyone looks forward to. My niece Stephanie is in charge and does a wonderful job of organizing the event. It will be at the church FARM, as it has been for the past few years. It isn't exactly July weather today. Cool hi 60's and rainy. Bummer. Hope it clears up and the sun shines pretty soon. Sandy will be absent this year. Baby Snyder has been "acting up" so she is on bedrest thru the weekend til her next visit with the OB on Monday. The twins are going with us and with Aunt Jamie. James is working, another bummer. But, most inportantly, he will be back for the Monday MD visit. She spent one night in the hospital already. Please pray for our family and Baby Snyder that he/she stays put til due date?! That is Nov. 23rd. Also, the twins lost another great grandmother last night. Their paternal great grandmother, Eileen Day, Marie's mother, passed away at10 pm. The girls love all their family. So, again I ask for prayer for the family and the twins as they go thru another death of a dear one. I better get back to the kitchen. Not quite done with the dessert yet. Happy 4th to all our loved ones. Fran
