Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Another granddaughter on the way!!!!!

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. We are praising the LORD for His blessings, as on Monday Sandy and James found out their baby is a little girl. She has been put off work and is on limited activity. Even though the cervix is sewn up and she is receiving injections monthly, the cervix has changed and therefore, precautions must be taken. Our little granddaughter is only at 20+weeks; so she must stay inside for a good long while. Pray for Sandy and James and the twins as they deal with inactivity and quietness in their spirits; and for me, Mike, Pat (James' mom) Jamie, and Joyce (James' grandmother). That we will be helpful, supportive, available, and prayerful. These new ultrasounds are way better than 10 years ago. There is even a 4-D thing that they can use closer to term. Amazing. Thank you in advance for praying for our family. Fran
