This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Sandy and the twins and Brittany and her girls spent two days in downtown Chicago this past week. They visited Water Tower American Girl Store, a resturant where the waiters are "rude" (It's alot of fun, Grammy") and played in the hotel swimming pool alot. The four girls get along super well as do their mothers. Sandy called several times to check on GeeGee, who is very ill and at home. She has had another light stroke, plus pneumonia or CHF, not sure. But did not want Doctor or Hospital care. So, our family is privileged to care for her in her last days. Many friends and relatives have come by to visit, sent flowers, etc. Mother is a loved individual. We have talked about heaven and Dad and Jesus; her speech is difficult to make out but I believe she understands what I am saying to her. Even if she doesn't, I'll say it anyway. It is hard watching someone you love get ready for heaven. My dear mother is 91+ and so tired. My parents were wonderful people who loved kids and Mother's nieces and nephews care for her and are very attentive to Mom and to me. I am thankful for my husband and my two daughters, son-in-law, and my granddaughters who are helping me to lovingly care for her. Her angel, Brenda, just resigned to spend more time with her kids. It is time for me to do the caregiving anyway. Thank you for your prayers in our behalf. Blessings, Fran

Fran,
We're praying for you guys and for GeeGee. She is one sweet lady. I've enjoyed caring for her as well. She is blessed to have you and your girls take care of her like you have. I'm so glad you have the promise of meeting her again in Heaven some day.
San and I had so much fun in Chicago. Our girls are a true treasure and we know that just like you do.
I LOVE "Out of His Great Love" by the Martins that's playing on your blog! One of my faves!
