Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Birthday, skating, and Cubbie/Ella

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today, the girls sang in a children's choir for "big" church. I had to play organ, and they liked it that I was up there!! So sweet. We watched them go thru a routine of things they learned in ice skating this season. It was freezing cold in there, but fun fun fun to watch. My friend Sue is improving, slowly, but, PTL, is off the ventilator and breathing on her own with oxygen in her trach tube. She is still very fragile, so I covet your prayers for her and family members. Bill and some of the kids were in church today. They cannot see Sue till late morning. The church has been faithful to visit, supply food, and most of all pray for them. On to another subject, Cubbie is well adjusted to his new home with his Mama Jamie and GeeGee. He is delightful to watch, and loves to jump and "fly" thru the air. We sure do love him. Ella and Cubbie do fine together, and Jackson hasn't met him yet. Blessings, Fran
