Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Piano Recital

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.Yesterday was a big day for the twins and I. We participated in their first piano recital. All the students did super well; and the teacher was so encouraging to the children. Each student played 3 songs. I accompanied Paige on 2 and Peyton on 1. What a thrill for me to be privileged to do that. I had found some herringbone skirts at The Childrens Place just last week. I happened to have a herringbone skirt myself; sooooooo.......we all three dressed alike!! The girls and I both loved that part!! My mother came, thanks to Jamie, James, and Mike. She had a wonderful time. The twins had 7 of their 8 grandparents and great-grandparents present, Vernice (Granny) was home sick, and she always comes to things, so I know she was sad to have missed this one. There was this one thing.....we three "girls" were to courtsy after the last performance; and somehow the small Christmas tree decoration just "fell" down. Think it was me, brother........I had on my Riley (bought for his wedding) high heels. Should've worn my old lady shoes...I'll know better the next time. Jamie and Sandy have pictures. Even of the looks we three gave to that tree when it fell down, ha ha ha. I don't know how to do pictures so you'll have to go to their blogs to see them. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. F.
