Friends that are ill gives prayer bones a work-out
This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. This week has not been the funnest for us. Our dear friend, Jack, had chest heaviness, flunked the stress test, and had triple by-pass on Friday. Alot to take in. So many people who love this family. All there to encourage and prayer for them. Their boys are like my own. I just love their little families. This family has taken us as part of their family for years now. God is good. Progress is being made. NO heart damage (Told you God was good!) But, we continue to pray for a full and quick recovery, for no pain or nausea, and for back home when God knows the time is right. My friend, AZ, is also in the hospital. She had a knee replacement that went not so good postoperatively. I love this lady. She and I used to go to town every Friday and have lunch and get groceries, after she played tennis and her little daughter and I ran around Danville running errands. My spiritual gift is that of exhortation. That means, for those of you unfamiliar, that I thrive on encouraging others to carry on as God would have them to do. Like a cheerleader of sorts. That's me. So, pray for me as I cheer for Jack and Linda and AZ and her husband as they go through these unusually difficult times. Have a good day. F.
