Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

Grammy is babysitting

Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God my Father~ After much fear and trepidation, I am keeping Reese for the day, while Sandy and the twins, and Charity and her boys go to Bloomington on a field trip for school. They've been gone 1 hour.........so far, so good. I gave her medicine to her, and her bottle and she went to sleep. That was my plan. Yeah for plans, when God is in them. This little girl is so cute. and I want to keep her, just a little afraid she might cry alot. But, not so far. Yeah Reese. Pray for me and the baby today as we get to know each other. The big girls (Paige and Peyton), and who would have thought I would ever call them big??? gave me some pointers on her care. They are very good with her. I have the rain forest music on (?) and am hoping for a wonderful day with my newest grandchild. Where is Poppa, you ask? Well, he's outside working on a pool table cover for the teen department. He checks in every so often. Hey, I just looked at my pic with Reese. I look 75+ in it. My heavens. Maybe I need a make-over. Enjoy your day, everyone. I know I will mine~
