Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

10 years old, God bless 'em!

Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God my Father~ Peyton and Paige turned 10 on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010. From their very fragile start to strong, sweet, smart young ladies. I'm so proud of them. They both know how to take lemons and make lemonade. And do it joyfully. They love their new baby sister, and she smiles every time she hears their voices. Let's see, the festivities began last week with a ice skating party, then party at their dad's, then a dinner theater of "Footloose" with their Aunt Jamie, then overnight guests (4 girls!), then dad's again, then out to eat with James and their mom and sister, and tomorrow at our house to wrap up a week or more of celebration. So, from Grammy and Poppa we say, "Happy Birthday" to our wonderful 10 year old granddaughters. We are very proud of you. p.s. We watched old video (tradition) of the girls when they were born, and on various occasions and birthdays, and laughed (cried a little shhh.....) to make the birthday complete.
