Mom and Dad's signs at farm
This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Mike put up the sign that my beloved dad had on his barn in Edgar County for 2 years before he passed. We left it up till Mother sold the home and an acre of land. The other sign is my mother's beauty shop sign. After Dad died, she went to Beauty School in Paris, Illinois. I was very proud of her. At age 50, to go back to school like that. She studied hard, and had a shop for several years, close to 20, before retiring. I added my fall decorations and the new flag and the pole Mike made (We saw one like it at the Covered Bridge). I have the Illinois flag ready as soon as he makes another pole for me. Just sharing today. My dear mother in law died 33 years ago today. Seems like yesterday. We were great friends. June had NO enemies. She was personable, a good listener, and very funny. I only knew her 5 or so years. Not near long enough. But I learned alot from her. Like, "never tell Mike something unpleasant until after you give him supper". Rest in peace, dear lady. We all miss you. Precious memories of my parents and Mikes. Hope my mind stays so I can remember stuff!!!

I don't think you listened to her advise though! We are sure to call them men at the first sign of a problem!
