This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today is my younger daughter's birthday. Mike and I called her to sing the traditional song. She has been a joy all these years (i accidentally typed "
job" instead of joy). Funny, eh? I have posted a picture of Mother, me, Jamie and Sandy taken when she was 5, I think. She says there are no JUST pics of her, all have Jamie in them. She's right. Never thought of taking them separately. We must remember when Baby Snyder comes to get some of the baby only, not always with the twins. On that warm day, 35 years ago, Jamie stayed with Aunt Ann, while Mike and I headed for the hospital in Urbana. She weighed 5 pounds and 4 ounces. Aunt Katy, Mike, and Jamie came to take us home. I held her all the way. No car seats, no seat belts (I'm not sure about that!!) But, Praise the Lord, we made it safe and sound. We had lots of company for the next several days, and we got to show off our new baby girl. So, Happy Birthday, Dear Sandy, Happy Birthday to YOU!

Really, both of you were good babies. Except the potty training part........
