Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

The big trip to Answers in Genesis

Peyton and Paige were very excited to leave this morning early for the Answers in Genesis Museum near Cincinatti. They stayed all night with Grammy and Poppa so we could just run them down to the church at 5:45am. (Yawn, yawn). They went to bed easy last night and got up as soon as my alarm went off. Dressed, teeth brushed and out the door with DS's, packed lunches, and light jackets. I had written on the "remembrance" board the time and not to forget their lunches. What I didn't see until Mike and I got back from the church was a note written by Paige. It said "Remember Paige and Peyton". HAHAHAHA. I was glad when Sandy called so I didn't have to awaken her to tell her about the note. Those little girls did NOT want to miss this day with their friends and their Sunday School teachers. Have fun P&P!!!!!

thanks for offering to take them this morning. I suspect you kind of had a good time with it! Would you believe that I was awake at 0600 thinking about them?
