Welcome to my blog!!

I have so enjoyed FB and blogging. I love reading others, friends, and younger people who are so good with words. It is my prayer that I be a servant to others. To lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is of chief importance to me. My work at the Cancer Center gave me many opportunities to do just that; the center was part of a Catholic institution that had ...."in the Spirit of Jesus Christ"..... in the Mission Statement. God gave me a boldness like never before. I also love journal keeping. I have several. The one I am currently using will run out before Dec. 31. I love it; it has a photo of the four grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Reese, and Sully on it. Plus a Christmas greeting on the inside page. I keep sermon notes and daily stuff on those pages. Mike said, "Do you ever go back and read what you write?" Answer YES. Regularly.

A Day in the Life

This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Hi everyone! Just wanted you to know how God answers prayers of His children. My mother is better, still a ways to go, but getting around better, a feat I thought she might have lost forever. And Granddaughter Paige had a mole removed yesterday, superficial, but traumatic nevertheless. Her doctor from birth had instructed her parents to have the thing off by the time she was 10 or sooner. So yesterday was the day. Her mother had numbed her up with a cream called EMLA that takes care of the skin. That way, when the numbing medicine goes in with a needle, you don't feel it. The EMLA worked beautifully! But, during the procedure, Paige passed clear out!!! Scared us the death. After coming around, she had a headache and was very hot, then pretty soon she was ok but tired. God is good!! Also, to report, a good friend of mine, AZ, had knee replacement surgery yesterday at the very same time that Paige was having her procedure done. A report from AZ's mother says she did very well, PTL. I asked you all to continue to pray for my friend BP who is very ill with pancreatic cancer. There are so many needs out there. My Bible study is going well, making me delve deep into the scriptures for answers and understanding of the life of Moses. And, spending the time with close friends makes it very FUN too. We tried to put a semi in a VW with the shopping after the study was over. Ha Ha. That was really funny, seeing us 3 ladies tring to rearrange a small car to make all that stuff fit into it. But, hurrah for us, we did it. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
